Who you'll be working with
I'm Michael Zuzek, a Toronto-based recording artist, performer, and music educator. I've played piano for 19 years and graduated from Queen's University with an honours degree, making the Dean's List along the way. I've written, produced, and sung two singles that charted on UK iTunes, but what I enjoy most is helping people reach the goals they came to me with.

The Unmuted guarantee
Show up to your sessions, do the work, and follow the practice plan. If you haven’t reached the goals we set together at the start, I’ll give you three additional sessions within one month of finishing the program, at no additional charge.
The guarantee is additional coaching, not a refund, and applies once you’ve met the program requirements. Details are in the Terms of Service.

What happens on the free consultation?
On the consultation, we talk about your goals, your music history, your vocal history, and what I can do to help. We go through how Unmuted would be structured around your goals and what starting today would look like. It's free and there's no obligation, and you'll leave with a clearer picture of what's holding your voice back and what the next step is.
Are lessons online?
Yes. All lessons are by video call, so you can train from anywhere. You only need a stable internet connection, a device with a microphone, and a quiet space.
I'm a beginner. Is this for me?
Yes. All levels of skill are welcome. As a beginner, the most important way to improve is personalized teaching that targets your natural strengths and your imperfections. That's what Unmuted is built around: every lesson and every week of homework comes from what I hear in your voice, so your practice time goes to what actually moves you forward instead of guessing or reinforcing bad habits.
How much does it cost?
Unmuted is $1,200 + HST. That includes twelve weekly 45-minute one-on-one sessions, personalized weekly homework, a structured practice plan, and accountability throughout. Payment is due in full when you book.
